I Maestri del Paesaggio, in their desire to promote a green culture, bring together the florists of Bergamo and the Province and organize, for the first time, the FLOWER ATELIER LAB.
Workshops in which the beauty and well-being evoked by a landscape "inhabited by plants" can be recreated in attractive flower arrangements or in the simple act of laying a table.

Antica Fioreria Rebussi

Giovanni Rebussi began to sell flowers and plants in the heart of Bergamo, under the Porta Nuova Propilei, in 1931. His passion led him to cultivate flowers in Seriate, where he set up greenhouses to cultivate geraniums, poinsettias and other seasonal plants. His pride is the prestigious rose garden with a variety of special variegated and scented roses. Giovanni, and his wife Teresa passed on this love of plants to their children Renato and Graziella, who continued the activity until 1994 when they handed it over to the next generation, Giovanni and Nicoletta, the current owners. The shop still displays vintage signs from the Sixties, a hand-crafted ladder in cast iron dating back to the Fifties and still uses hand-crafted copper pots.

Ravasio fiori

It is difficult to tell the story of the Ravasio family, ancient floriculturists of Bergamo, without linking it to that of a poppy. This story begins in the early 1900’ss, when carriages still circulated in the centre of Bergamo, and when Ernesto Ravasio, taken up by an intense passion for flowers, stepped into the fiels of floriculture.
The business touched an extraordinary height as far back as 1930 when his nephew Eugenio Ravasio, after attending a floriculture school in Zurich, and after working as Head Gardener in the Vatican gardens of Castelgandolfo, returned to Bergamo. Later, Eugenio's brother Vittorio returned from the prisoner-of-war camp in Cape City, South Africa, bringing with him from that distant land a flower seed then unknown in Italy: the red-and-yellow Iceland poppy or  Papaver nudicaule.
