She was born in Bergamo in 1974. In 1997 she graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan and lived for six months in the Reserva Biològica de Quebrangulo in Brazil.
This was the starting point for her work dedicated to the spontaneous forests of Brazil's main biomes and the enhancement of forest biodiversity.
In 1999 she moved to Brazil where she lived for sixteen years painting the botanical species of the Tropical Humid Forest, the Cerrado, the Amazon.
In 2016 she moved back to Bergamo.
Since 2000 she has been exhibiting in public spaces and international art galleries. In her career she has held more than 22 solo exhibitions and over 35 group exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
Numerous publications have been dedicated to her.
She collaborates with various public institutions, including the "Lorenzo Rota" Botanical Garden of Bergamo, setting up exhibitions and holding courses and workshops in botanical painting.
