September 5th, 2020 - from 4 to 6 p.m.

What does it mean to discover that a space could be transformed into something else? What does it mean to discover a new world? What does it mean to float? With this event the urban furniture, for example a fountain, will become a bridge that leads to the sea. We will climb monuments, go into a forest full of emotions and dive into an ocean. Discovering and rediscovering nature and the surrounding space through the eyes of the protagonists of poetic stories.
Reading tips will be released at the end of the storytelling.

Man has always been inspired by nature architecture, tools, fabrics and works of art could testify it. Through a journey into biomimesis, you will discover the secrets of some plants and animals borrowed from great artists of the past and today. Starting from the observation of some plant fragments, a small work of art will come out through creativity.

Landscape is a complex system of systems, natural and man-made, which tend to balance. Although this is a scientific concept, the sensibility of many artists grasps and returns this theory to us. The city of Bergamo is a splendid example of this complex system with almost intact natural environments on the hills, ecological corridors along the edges, a precious historic city in the Upper Town and a contemporary city in transformation in the Lower Town.

The laboratory proposes a walk to understand what the elements that build the urban landscape are, everyone could look for his own path and feeling, tracing his own colourful walkway, between views, perspectives and points of view. A travel notebook will be created, with sketches, thoughts and matter.

Hide to see better, cover to reveal, investigate shapes and materials, discover natural fabrics chasing your own sensibility to colour and shape. A game of threads and weaves amid nature, gathering natural elements, covering them and reinterpret them with fabrics and yarns, to sew one's own landscape whether it is a garden or a square. Creative interpretation of an object that becomes a space in which you can immerge yourself, memory of a moment, a thread that builds a bond.
