Special designer Michele De Lucchi
For Italians, the table is a piece of furniture par excellence; the family gathers around the table, it is a workplace, a space for conviviality, hope can be offered from a table, and that which must not be forgotten is placed on it. Here at the centre of the 2020 the Green Square installation, are the tables designed by Michele De Lucchi and made out of fir, beech and ash wood, thereby supporting our native and forest plants. Elms, beeches, lindens, hornbeams, oaks and cherry trees (discover the plants of Green Square) are a sign of rebirth and hope for the future.
The installation is complemented by 20 trees with herbaceous perennials at their base in and Poldina lamps by Zafferano.
Green Square 2020 is the protagonist of a great fundraiser: everything you see is available for a donation in favour of ‘Green to the People’, the garden for the Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital.
