Luciano Pia was born on October 2, 1960. In 1984 he graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Turin.
In 1987 he joined the "Ordre des Architectes d'Ile de France" in Paris where he worked from 1990 to 2000.
In 2000, upon his return to Italy, a new professional and creative phase opened that allowed him to acquire an important international reputation: the "Inter-University School of Biotechnology" in Turin (2004-2006) - one of the most representative projects of Pia’s architectural poetics - has quickly become one of the most documented Italian architectures in the specialized magazines. Subsequently, he designed new quality residential settlements such as the house of "via Calandra 17" (first example of house in energy class A in the historic center of Turin), "25 green" the house in the trees in via Chiabrera 25 and "Casa Hollywood" (transformation of a former nineteenth-century theater in high-efficiency residences) representing the most famous recent interventions, become references and models of development known worldwide through publications, films, articles, conferences and guided tours.
